Infinite Ripples of Generosity transforms the concept of kindness into a tangible experience, showing how even the smallest gestures can ripple outward, shaping lives, communities, and the world well beyond their first impact.
“At its core, this work is about accumulation,” says BREAKFAST. “Rather than presenting generosity as a single gesture, Infinite Ripples of Generosity frames it as a cumulative force, one that grows, compounds, and gains momentum through collective participation and infinitely shapes the fabric of humanity.”
The surrounding environment is integral to the experience. Overhead spotlights mirror the movement of the tiles, projecting shifting reflections across the curved walls. These reflections amplify the sculpture’s motion, allowing small gestures to expand beyond the surface and fill the space with light.
“I am excited for this collaboration with Julius Baer,” says BREAKFAST. “We wanted the space itself to echo the message of giving. Every interaction with the sculpture leaves a trace,” BREAKFAST explains. “The artwork remembers what came before. It is shaped by everyone who participates, just as communities are shaped by collective action.”
According to Regis Burger, Head Middle East & Africa and CEO, Julius Baer (Middle East) Ltd., “Infinite Ripples of Generosity reflects Julius Baer’s belief that wealth management extends beyond financial performance. It is about shaping long term value that contributes positively to society and the communities in which people live and work”.
“Unveiling this commission marks an important moment for Julius Baer as it reflects on sixty years of the Julius Baer Foundation and its long-standing commitment to addressing wealth inequality through education, opportunity, and long-term social investment,” Burger says.
Innovation plays a central role in Julius Baer’s approach. The artwork forms part of Julius Baer’s NEXT initiative, which brings together art, science, and technology while exploring megatrends.
“BREAKFAST is an artist who uses technology with purpose,” Burger explains. “Through this artwork, he is able to showcase the art of giving in an impactful manner while encouraging audience participation.”
The work carries a strong philanthropic message as the UAE celebrates the Year of the Family. Themes of generosity, responsibility, and continuity speak directly to the role families play in shaping future generations.
“For Julius Baer, philanthropy is not separate from how we think about wealth,” Burger adds. “It is about helping clients understand how their wealth can strengthen communities, address inequality, and shape a legacy across generations.”
