Launched in 2012 as the first programme of its kind in the region, Campus Art Dubai (CAD) is part of Art Dubai’s extensive non-commercial programming that continuously develops each year to meet the changing needs of the UAE’s creative community.
Dubai Culture & Arts Authority is the Strategic Partner of Campus Art Dubai.
The 9th edition of Campus Art Dubai will provide a unique educational opportunity to those who wish to have a career in the arts by offering a 360 degree understanding of the art world by allowing CAD 9.0 participants to be mentored by senior Art Dubai personnel in a real work environment during this programme. The participants will be undergo a 5 month rotational placement at Art Dubai during this educational-work programme in each of the following departments:
This will be complemented by a series of lectures and talks with leading figures in the UAE’s artistic ecosystem as well as international guest speakers that will offer unique behind the scenes perspectives.
After the completion of the 5 month course, successful participants will be presented with a certificate and offered introductions to potential employers.
The programme is open to all UAE residents and funding is available upon application to contribute towards living expenses.
